What is a Sample?

A sample is a "pre-production" item sales representatives (sales reps) use to show retailers the new products and colors that will be available in future seasons.  We buy whole sample sets of all the new colors and products from several companies and use them at trade shows, for photo shoots and occasionally demos.  Once we are finished, we make them available to you at significantly reduced pricing.

Some samples are not exact representatives of the final products that get manufactured.  For example, zipper or stitch colors may be different or even the fabric may be a shade off.  Some look exactly like the final production.

Some of the samples never go to production because there aren't enough orders for them or there is a supply chain shortage so they can't be made.  These aren't exactly one-of-a-kind, but you won't find many.

The samples on our site are likely labeled as SAMPLE and do not carry a manufacturer's warranty, but we review each item to ensure it is functional and ready for many adventures.

We generally only have one or two of each item, and once they are sold we won't be able to get more.
